| Running Club | Running enthusiasts train at lunch hours to compete in the annual district Dawe Run. |
| Choral Program | Grade 3, 4 and 5 students have the opportunity to join the school choirs. |
| Basketball | We are part of an intramural basketball program with other schools from around our area and community. |
| Intramurals | Each grade engages in a lunch hour intramural program in the gym throughout the winter months. |
| Cross Country Ski Club | The ski club trains regularly in preparation for the city-wide Ski Loppet. |
| Recorder Club | Grade 4 and 5 students practice in order to compete at the Red Deer Festival of the Performing Arts. |
| Canwest Spelling Bee | Grade 4 and 5 students annually compete within their classes and at the school level. Then they write a test to qualify for Provincials with the possibility to compete in Edmonton. Canwest Spelling Bee. |
| Math Club | Sponsored by Mathematica Centrum. Grade 4 participants write the Byron-Germaine test while Grade 5 participants write the Fibonacci test. |
| Rollerblading | Alien In-Line annually comes to the school for a week of rollerblading safety and skill training for all of our students. |
| Rugby | One member of the Red Deer Titans Rugby Club comes annually to provide our students with skills and instruction on this sport. |
| Tennis | Members from the Red Deer Tennis Club come to teach all grade levels skills and games related to tennis. |
